The LC Fiber Optic Connector provides good performance and is favored for both singlemode and multimode fiber optic applications. The LC Fiber Optic Connector also incorporates a unique latching mechanism that provides stability in system rack mounts.

This fiber optic connector's body is made of moulded plastic, and features a square front profile. An RJ-style latch, similar to a phone jack, on the top of this fiber optic connector provides easy, repeatable connections. The small size and push-in connections of LC fiber optic connectors make them an excellent choice for high-density applications, and for cross connects.
